My name is Richard Albanese and I look forward to meeting you to speak about defending your criminal or traffic related case. I served as a Cook County Prosecutor for over a decade and handled thousands of DUI, Traffic, Misdemeanor and Felony cases in all areas of the law. I am also a Veteran of the United States Army and will fight for your Constitutional rights and freedoms in court. I am well versed in negotiating, arguing motions and conducting trials before judges and juries across Illinois and Wisconsin. When I speak to you the first time concerning your case you will know you have my full respect and attention and I am not looking at my watch. I listen intently and ask pertinent questions of my clients to determine our best defense strategy moving forward. 

As a Prosecutor I strived to uphold and maintain a high standard of professionalism often under very trying circumstances both in and out of the courtroom. I have always been and remain today as an attorney for the people. I understand the trying financial times we are facing as a nation and never overcharge a client for handling their case. I also try not to drag out cases with unnecessary delays or continuances and give clients constant updates as their case progresses. With every case I lay out for the client the possible sentences, costs, and consequences they may be facing and my professional evaluation of what their best course of action will be, but ultimately I respect my clients wishes and leave the ultimate decisions to them regarding whether we accept an offer from the state or court or go to trial.
